Cub Scout Holiday Dinner

This is the poinsetta we got from the Cub Scout dinner last night ... very unusual. Alek earned a Coleman 0 degree mummy sleeping bag for his popcorn sales, so the boys had a sleepover in the playroom last night in their sleeping bags:Each scout brought a wrapped book to the Christmas dinner last night and they played a game to exchange the books. The scout master read a poem, and each time the word 'right or left' was in the poem, the boys had to pass the book to the right or left. It was very funny! Alek is the scout in blue, just to the right of the five scouts in brown; he's holding a green-wrapped book.
Another picture of the game ...

  1. I love the unusual though:) It just means you have one different from everyone elses. I don't think I have ever gotten a poinsetta. My mother in law sends me a Amaryllis each year though:)
Tell Alek great job on the popcorn sales! What a great prize too! He could definately put that to use here in Maine. We did that very same poem with the girl scouts one year. Funny huh? I love how involved the boy scouts are though. It's amazing the difference in them vs. girl scouts. Have a great night Marna:)
